JON EWEN - DRUMS & PERCUSSION

Jon has been playing drums and percussion for 22 years.  He studied for two years at the Total Percussion School. Archway, London.  He is now professional and is in great demand by many top musicians in and around Hastings where he now lives.  He has experience in many different styles ranging from jazz and folk through to heavy metal.

Some of the signed artists that Jon has worked with over the years include Little Angels, Francis Dunnery of It Bites, Jennifer Batten from Michael Jackson’s band and members of Iron Maiden, Feeder and Toploader.

Jon has worked with Polydor Records, Chrysalis Records, EMI Records and Trinifold Management and has been involved in many recording sessions for bands and aritsts both locally and internationally.  His work includes sample loop CDs and downloads of all styles, which have been commercially
used internationally. 

He currently uses Ddrum and Pearl drums and Paiste and Zildjian cymbals.

Jon has 15 years experience teaching in Hastings and the surrounding area.

Jon has played with, or is currently playing with Slam, Phil Hudson Band (Hudson Boys), Cut the Mustard, The Fourhedz, Dan Lapins, Little Monkeys, Nana Tsiboe’s Bushfaya, Thunderhead, Logan Wilson Band, Iguanahead, The Screaming Angels, Local Heroes, The Culprits and... The Blackman Brothers.
