 Garry is based in Hastings, East Sussex and has been a professional musician for over twenty years. He is well known for his work with the ever popular celtic duo ‘Band of Two and regular performances with the maritime allstar Shep Woolley as The 'Andsome Cabin Bouys. Over the years he has supported various artists including Steeleye Span and Christy Moore and he has recorded on the EMI label here in the U.K. and the Mai label in Norway, his first solo album is on the P.D.C.S. label and he has his own label Attitude Records. He has also played and recorded with the legendary ‘Barry Dransfield’ and he was a regular at the folk clubs from as early as 1971
He has played with The Mariners, The Telham Tinkers, Brian Boru, Better Days, Rogues in Rosin and
The Tabs.
He has played many of the top festivals here in the U.K. and throughout Europe including Fairport’s Cropredy and The Festival of the Sea. More recently he has become a regular with the celebrated Feast of Fiddles playing with Dave Mattacks (ex Fairport Convention), Peter Knight (Steeleye Span), Chris Leslie (Fairport Convention), Brian McNeill (ex Battlefield Band), Ian Cutler (The Wicker Man), Phil Beer (Show of Hands), and Tom Leary (Little Johnny England). Garry is best known for his fiddle playing but is a multi-instrumentalist, a respected vocalist and composer. He has recently released an album with Tom Leary entitled 'A Tune In Time'.
